Masoli to Mississippi
Posted by Brett Kincaid on July 28, 2010
The venerable Chris Low at ESPN.com reports tonight that the Wrong Reverend should have his
latest reclamation project very soon. The University of Mississippi offers 3 graduate programs the University of Oregon does not, and Masoli will be required to enroll in one of those programs in order to be eligible. For all of many, many faults, Masoli is reportedly a very smart man and good student. He just routinely does very dumb things.
As for the Mississippi head coach… I can’t think of anything new to say. Here is the link to an editorial piece that shown the light on his ridiculous “justice” system.

This just keeps getting better. He is now going to get a “reduced tuition” b/c has has to walk on the football team? Unreal!
On top of that he is going to be admitted into a graduate program for which he missed not only the application deadline but the deadline to have all credintials submitted by 4 months (deadline was April 1 for Fall) http://www.olemiss.edu/gradschool/application_deadlines.php
The following materials must be on file in the Graduate School prior to April 1 to be assured consideration for admission for summer and fall terms, and prior to October 1 for spring consideration:
a completed and signed application form
official transcripts from all 4-year institutions attended
appropriate test scores (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, Praxis, etc.)
Incomplete applications will not be circulated for departmental review. Last minute submissions are strongly discouraged.
Some departments enforce individual application deadlines. Applicants are strongly urged to contact the department for which they are making application regarding other departmental requirements and to verify deadlines.
A normal out-of-state grad student would have to pay close to $5,000 per semester(tuition only, fee not included) for 6 hours of Graduate classes. http://www.olemiss.edu/admissions/tuition/
Of course if you are a two time felon that can help the Mississippi coach not look as bad they will waive all requirments and even allow you a huge discount. If you are a student at Ole Miss and you are paying out-of-state tuition or have been denied admission b/c you missed the deadline you should be pissed.
