Texas A&M and Oklahoma were invited to join the SEC, but (at least A&M) declined because Texas and Oklahoma State were not included in the potential move. I suppose I can understand OU’s decision. They are the one team in that league that can stand up to Texas.
But A&M? Wow. I mean, other than OU, Texas has the entire Big Whatever It Is by the Shorthorns, and yet the Whoopers wanted to stay behind with them? Now THAT’s Stockholm Syndrome at its worst.
