If any corporation can take on the world’s largest and in many ways most powerful country, it’s Google. The most popular search engine/email provider/technology guru has stopped filtering their popular engine in China. They are now directing Chinese users through Hong Kong.
Bravo to Google for standing up to Chinese censorship. Hopefully Google won’t lose too many advertisers based on this action – which would be the only reason I can see why they would stand down in the face of Chinese government pressure.

but if f the death of Hawgball has you down, you might as well root on the UALR Lady Trojans tonight as they take on Oklahoma (in Norman) in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. This is a pretty good article about the great work Joe Foley and his team have done in The Rock.
