Former Hog All-American Shawn “Hurricane” Andrews Released

Posted by Adam Butler on March 17, 2010

by the Eagles.

That’s what happens when you take it upon yourself to make videos like this (It’s all Golden, but it’s Platinum starting at the 2:38 mark):

They won’t say it, but I think it’s because they now know he got his nickname more accurately describes the Hurricane swirling in his head, as opposed to the way he plays football.

Glee Spoilers… Yeah, you heard me.

Posted by Jeff on March 17, 2010

Don't mess with Sue.

Maybe it’s because I am a high school teacher.  Maybe it’s because my wife is a classically trained singer and music teacher.  Either way, I am not ashamed to admit that at the Hagers’ house, we miss Glee. Even our 2 year old loves the show. “I want Gee!”  He’s still working on two consonant sound production.  If you haven’t seen it, Glee is a one hour musical/drama/comedy on Fox that features some very talented singers and some hilarious plot scenarios and twists.  Apparently they are going on tour as well.  Not sure my addiction is that bad.

The story is that Will Shuster is a high school Spanish teacher (Gee… why would I be interested in this?) that also sponsors the Glee Club.  He is tormented by the cheerleading sponsor, Sue (played by the awesome, Jane Lynch) and by his own wife.  The kids in the club have their own issues as well.  In fact, watching it makes me wonder if Adam thinks “this would never happen” while he watches Law and Order or other lawyer shows.

Anyway, such is my addiction to this pithy little mind-number that when I saw these spoilers, I had to share.  (Neil Patrick Harris is guest starring and Kristen Chenowith is reprising her guest role as well.) As guilty pleasures go, it’s pretty fun.  The music is great and as I said, Jane Lynch rocks.
