Blanche Lincoln Had an Eventful Day

Posted by Adam Butler on March 9, 2010

Blanche Lincoln isn't sure if she agrees this is her likeness in this photo.

And by eventful, I mean she continued to dig her own political grave, misstep after misstep.

Look, it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion she will not win reelection.  The question, in my opinion, is whether she will lose in the primary to the surging Bill Halter.

I hope it’s in the primary.  At least with Halter, the Democrats would have a fighting chance.

On Lindsay Lohan and

Posted by Adam Butler on March 9, 2010

It seems like you shouldn't be able to spell "train wreck" with a pair of Ls.

things you just can’t make up.

NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) – The actress Lindsay Lohan has sued E*Trade Financial Corp for $100 million, saying a “milkaholic” baby girl who appeared in a recent commercial was modeled after her.

Lohan alleged that online brokerage’s use in the ad the girl, also named Lindsay, improperly invoked her “likeness, name, characterization, and personality” without permission, violating her right of privacy.

There is no word as of yet as to whether Lohan intends to sue her breasts for abandonment.

Extortionist Pleads Guilty

Posted by Jeff on March 9, 2010

Try getting this love triangle out of your head...

Robert “Joe” Halderman pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny in the David Letterman extortion case.  He got 6 months in jail plus community service.  Not enough if you ask me. But like many of you, I’m a huge Dave fan.

The real story here is that Stephanie Birkitt – who was pretty funny in the skits that Letterman put her in – seems to have a thing for older men. First 60-something Dave, then 50-something Joe.  Unfortunately she apparently left her diary out for ol’ Joe to read after he got tired of Dave driving her home late every night.

Speaking of which… Do people really keep diaries anymore?   Who does this?   What did her entry say?    “Dear Diary:  Dave made me dress up like the Statue of Liberty again today.  He’s so dreamy with that gap in his teeth and messed up hair.  Maybe he’ll make me a star!”

Bama Fans Cure a 2-day Case of the Mondays.

Posted by Adam Butler on March 9, 2010

They’re like Colt 45–they work every time.  Even if they are being ironic, and I am not convinced of that, THIS is absolutely, positively AWFUL.

Can someone help me place the look-a-like for the White Gangsat Rapper on this 2nd video?  I want to hate him, but he makes fun of Tebow, and shows him crying, so I can’t.

BREAKING NEWS: Welcome the Newest Blog Hawg, Jeff Hagers.

Posted by Adam Butler on March 9, 2010

Jeff is a long-time friend, and one of the best people I know.  He is also one of the only people I have ever met who is occasionally as surly as I am.   Expect that he and I will be a bit more PTI ish than the Blog Haltered  Halted BK (who will hopefully be be back on this site in the Fall as a Blanche Lincoln conquering hero). and I are.

For example, Jeff and I CLEARLY disagree about a few things, like Taco Bell 4th Meal and the catalyst for Houston Nutt’s firing resignation (HINT: It wasn’t overinflated expecttaions).

I am undoubtedly one of the obsessive fans that he finds entertaining, and one day, ONE DAY, we will debate my yet-to-be unveiled on Blog Hawgs “2-Affliction Rule”.

That’s before we even get into the “What is a Sport?” discussion Jeff promised or venture into his wheelhouse–Pro Wrasslin’. This should be fun.

For more info on Jeff, read his bio here and his very solid debut post here.
