Ladies andGentlemen, Your SEC West (Co) Leaders

the Arkansas Razorbacks. Last night was a huge win for the Hogs, even if it came at the expense of a team that only has 1 conference win.  Georgia has played most everyone (including UK) tough, and to overcome a 15-point halftime deficit and some questionable officiating on the road showed some toughness, once again, from a team that appeared to be dead inthe water a few weeks ago and now could conceivably go on a real push for postseason play.

I would also like to take this opportunity to laud Stef Welsh.  I have been hard on the guy over the years, but he had one of the better games in his career last night–played under control, hit big shots, had good shot selection, played tremendous defense.  He was a very big part of the win.

hey…anything is possible…i think we get in with 18 wins…take care of biz at home (4 left)…steal another road win and win a couple sec tourney games and its very doable.

I too doubted that the players didnt play hard for Pelphrey but after last night I think they totally respect him and he does have full control of this team….and how ripped is Fortson…man he is tough…

I have decided that these last three games were played rope-a-dope style. We lull them (and a lot of us) to sleep in the first half, then unleash Fortson on them in the second…

Yes, *gulp* Stef Welsh did have a really good game. He (wow) played under control, did not take bad shots, did not try to split double and triple teams (where he always turns the ball over) and I don’t remember him getting a shot blocked at all.

I also only remember Mike Washington taking 1-2 bad outside jumpers (which is good for him).

Mike Washington is the current “Charles Thomas” of this team- gets at least one shot thrown in an emasculating manner, much like the way we would throw Brain’s shot at the house!

I wonder who is the career leader for getting their stuff thrown at Arkansas? Mike Washington, Alonzo Lane, Jonathan Modica, Stef Welsh or Charles Thomas?

Lauding Stef Welsh should require one huge piece of hickory to knock on.
