I may have known who Benji Mahan was prior to November 1998, but I can't say that I do, now. That portion ofmy brain has been permanently eradicated. Thanks for the info, though.

Marcus Danenhauer is the Bentonville O Lineman that got an offer. His brother played at Tulsa. He is coached by Benji Mahan (former Hog). Marcus is very good. He has started on the line every game since his sophomore year. Bentonville does not start many sophomores.

I think so,at least moreso than it is now. Arkansas' recruiting should be better next year simply because the in-state talent is supposed to be a lot better and they should be recruiting off of a betteryear and more publicity, with Mallett.

They have a commitment from Brandon Allen, the Fayetteville QB (and Bobby Allen's son)and they offered a big lineman from Bentonville (scouting report....chances of landing him, Jeff?)

Good needs based recruiting. Once all the needs are filed and ASSuMEing we have a great year this year recruiting should start to be more of a reloading process in the future. Shouldn't it?
