Rumor has it that Elin Woods is pretty handy with a short iron, too. According to this report, she split the fairway of Tiger’s grill in their Thanksgiving night spat.
“His wife (Elin Nordegren) saw the message. When he returned, around 11:30 p.m. or midnight, she waited at the door. She asked what it was, these messages, and who was this woman.
“He kept saying there was nothing there. He went to watch television. … then suddenly, bang! A nine-iron in the face!
The lesson, of course, is to never leave your cell phone alone.
Caldwell (DL) and Cinkovich (WRs) named to UA Staff

Caldwell
today. Steve Caldwell, as discussed here, yesterday, is a big, somewhat suprising get. Kris Cinkovich coached at UNLV the last 6 years and had previously been a very successful high school coach in Las Vegas. He was a teammate of Bobby Petrino at Carroll College in the 80s, where the two played for Petrino’s father. One must worry about a man named Kris. At least it isn’t Kristen, as far as I can tell.
Interestingly, Petrino’s connection with Caldwell comes from “The Silver State” as well. The two coached together as Nevada assistants in 1994.
