Fired For (Not Really) Playing Fantasy Football at Work?

Posted by Adam Butler on December 18, 2009

I am my own boss now, but if my former employer had been as strict as Fidelity Investments, I would have been canned, quickly.

“One of my buddies sent me something about how bad Trent Edwards was playing or something like that,” Pettigrew said. “So they called me in and talked to me for about 90 minutes on everything I ever knew about fantasy football. They interrogated me as though I was some sort of international gambling kingpin. Then they released me for the day, and I was like, ‘OK.’ I never thought they’d fire me for this, but, the next day, I get the call saying I had been terminated.”

Bowl Mania–Alright. Enough Already. Last Call.

Posted by Adam Butler on December 18, 2009

I can see the hits.  I know that a suprisingly decent number of people read the ramblings of 2 mad men on this site.  I also know that when we post college football related stuff, you guys eat it up like catfish.

Sooooooooooo.  Sign up for Bowl Mania.  We have to at least get 25-30 so that someone, theoretically, has a chance to beat me.  The winner gets an autographed picture of my eye brows.
