Urban to South Bend Gaining Steam

He’ll deny it all the way, but the talk is growing louder.  Newspaper writers in Florida are picking up the scent.  Pete Kerasotis points out that Urban is anything but consistent on his Notre Dame stance.

“I wanted to go to Notre Dame,” Meyer said in his biography, “but my family wanted to talk about going to Florida.” Last December, Meyer said on the radio, “Notre Dame is still my dream job. That hasn’t changed.” Then, earlier this year, he said, “I’m not going to Notre Dame. Ever.”

Remembering Hawg Ball VIII

This post is what it says it is.  It will be a feature here at BlogHawgs.com until the Hoop Hogs are relevant again, or the Razorbacks have more wins than games missed due to suspensions. 

Here’s to you, Canon Whitby. Without this comeback the Nolan Richardson era would have ended far too prematurely.  One can only hope that, just like 1987, we are about to come out of the darkness and into the daylight of a thriving, powerhouse program in the coming years.
