Dear Charlie Weiss:

This is not a vote of confidence. For those of you who are unaware of FlightAware, it’s a handy dandy website that allo
ws planes to be tracked. In recent years, it has been the biggest arrow in the quiver of coach-hating super sleuth fans who want to get a heads up on the behind-the-scenes mechanations of a coaching search, even as schools deny one is occuring.
Point of Clarification: I don’t know that the Golden Domers’ plane was headed anywhere, just yet. But, the fact they have blocked tracking could suggest some activity in the near future. Rumored names on their wish list are OU’s Bob Stoops, and of course, Tim Tebow’s life partner coach, Urban Meyer.

Awwww. . . . UND figured out how to take their plane off the grid. Where was it headed? Gainesville, Palo Alto, or Boise, ID?

Thanks. I’ve said for months that Urb would be #1 on the UND list and even with his “I’ll always be a Gator coach” comment from the beginning of the season, I still think he won’t be in Gainesville next year. Five million reasons tell me so. . .
BUT, I have a new theory on ‘ol Urban. I think there’s a chance he continues to life-partner with Tebow. I hear the Jags might need a new coach, and what would possibly be the best thing to keep the Jags in Jacksonville? Hmmmmm . . .
(For the uninformed, this is a completely unsubstantiated rumor. But I think it makes sense.)
