“Yeah, the refs stunk, but we had plenty of chances to win–it’s our own fault” I may lose it.
Of course we had chances–the same could be said for every game. But Florida had chances, too, and missed them. And they were given a much better chance to win because of some blatantly bad calls. Why should the Hogs have to be perfect (or near) and if not, then the loss is on them when they were clearly jobbed.
You should not be forced to outplay the #1 team by 2-3 TDs in order to win simply because they were the Number 1 team in the country. And, I still hate Tebow and am glad we nailed him all day. It will be good practice for him when he is getting hit on every play in the NFL as a fullback or H-back.
