The Southwest Conference lives on, if only for one day in Dallas.

The stadium itself is as much the story this week as the actual game between Arkansas and Texas A&M.

Harry King likes the Razorbacks’ chances tonight in Big D.

ESPN.com gets the day started on the right foot with their College GameDay Kickoff.

Alabama and Kentucky get things started for the SEC today.

The 2:30 CBS game features LSU at Georgia, two teams that need their defenses to step things up quickly.

Mississippi travels to Vanderbilt for the 6:00pm game on ESPNU.

Also at 6:00 this evening, the Ol’ Ball Coach and South Carolina battle South Carolina State.  This game can be seen on ESPN Classic and ESPN360.com.

The Hogs and Aggies kick off at 6:30 on ESPN2 while Mississippi State and Georgia Tech tee it up at the same time on ESPN360.com.

The other big game this evening pits Auburn and Tennessee in Knoxville.  This game starts at 6:45pm and can be seen on ESPN.

Morrilton police have made an arrest in connection with a fire that destroyed the historic E.E. Mitchell building.  Shockingly, alcohol may have been involved.

Police have arrested a Chicago-area man in the Erin Andrews video scanadal.  Sounds like she was stalked for quite a while by the accused.

While deciding how to proceed with Iran, I suggest the Obama administration watch any Peanuts cartoon with Lucy and Charlie Brown.

Typhoon Parma has flooded the Philipines, only making a deadly rainy season much, much worse.

The Palin v. McCain Campaign Staff royal rumble continues.

What MLB lacks in depth they make up for in excitement with the 2009 pennant races.  Colorado and Minnesota both remain alive in their quest for their respective division titles.

A 14-year-old girl is tied for the lead at this week’s LPGA event in Alabama.
