From the “They Need All The Help They Can Get” Department

Jerry Franklin, starting linebacker for the Arkansas Razorbacks and momentum killer du jour (with 2 personal fouls and an ejection when the Hogs were up 21-10 on Georgia and had just gotten the ball back on a turnover near midfield) will NOT be suspended for the Alabama game on Saturday.

Does anybody have any linkage to a video or photographs showing the dastardly deed Jerry Franklin committed to get das boot out of the game? Being in the cheap seats made it hard to see what wrong he committed worthy of being tossed. I mean, it clearly wasn’t a LaGarrette Blount moment. What did he do? Punch a couple of guys and “bump” a referee? Come on! That’s chalked up to general horseplay at any SEC tailgate party.
