Senator Ted Kennedy, Dead at 77

The nation lost one of its greats as Senator Ted Kennedy lost his year-long battle with brain cancer. Conservative or liberal, no one can deny the impact Sen. Kennedy had on this country. A respected mind and leader of the Senate, Kennedy fought and wrangled with many a Republican only to share a laugh afterwards and call them friends. It is hard to think of another Senator who had a greater impact on American discourse over the past 40 years. Here are several stories recounting the loss of a great leader.
