Arkansas basketball has finalized its 2009-2010 schedule.

Usain Bolt is fast.

Chad Ochocinco, the kicker?  He was last night anyway.

Boston swept past Toronto, Texas kept pace, and Tampa lost at home.  Big weekend for the AL East and Wild Card races with Boston hosting the Yankees and Texas going to Tampa.

St. Louis continued its West Coast domination behind the arm of Joel Piniero.

Florida State continues its war with the NCAA.  We will continue to follow this one, because it could really change the face of college sports’ primary governing body.

Injuries continue to ravage the USC Trojans in fall camp.

The Razorbacks completed two-a-days on Thursday.  A spirited and sometimes feisty morning workout was followed by a trip to area youth centers instead of practice.  Pretty cool story

Lucas Miller suffered another serious injury, this time to his collarbone.  He’ll be out 4-6 weeks.

Hog backup QB Tyler Wilson continues to work on everything but throwing the football – something he does as well as anyone.

Nagging injuries are taking their toll on Alabama as two-a-days wind down.

Auburn has suffered through siginificant injuries at the LB position, forcing walk-on players to take an active role at practice.

Greg Hardy remains sidelined at Mississippi camp.

The Mississippi heat may have finally affected Dan Mullen’s brain.  Atlanta?  Really?

LSU Coach Les Miles likes the progress he sees in Baton Rouge.

The depth at secondary in South Carolina got a boost yesterday thanks to two former offensive players.

Morning News

Either Congressman Ross cannot add or the Blue Dogs plan to revolt.  He says health care reform will take “bipartisan effort” in order to succeed in the House.

RNC Chairman Michael Steele was in Little Rock yesterday talking health care.  At least we think so.  That’s what he said at a news conference.  Like the Obama organizers in town, the RNC did not allow press to cover the health care “forum”.

Why is no one listening to the man with magic underwear?   Democrats should embrace him because he can never win the GOP nomination.

More federal stimulus money has been awarded for Arkansas road projects.  I wonder how many of the people getting new roads that have complained about their quality for so long also whine about “big government”.

Is Craighead County the new Benton County?  A new private club license has been granted for a coming hotel in Jonesboro.

The lieutenant governor heads to China tomorrow to spread the gospel of Arkansas agri-business.

This is one of those things that makes me sick even though I knew what was happening at the time.

Afghanis hit the polls yesterday, doing their best to avoid being killed.  Anyone in America that does not vote should really think about killing themselves.  What a bunch of spoiled a-holes.  Oh, back to Afghanistan… Both sides claim victory.

Evidently the spring was like the NFL pre-season for the H1N1 virus.  The WHO believes this fall could be terrible worldwide.
