The players reported yesterday, and will hit the field today for the first time. It’s sorta the calm before the storm, because, in my opinion, you can’t tell much until they put on pads and start banging around. It’s better than nothing, though.
What battles/positions will Hog fans be focusing on? Obviously, with all the ultra-talented newcomers in the secondary, that area will be intriguing. I will be interested to see how the OL progresses. There is experience returning, but it was largely bad experience.
I will also be waiting for the inevitable preseason injury that happens every year, everywhere, and alters plans and the depth chart. The Hogs’ can’t afford to have thoise injuries on the DL or at LB, really.
I am just glad eternity that was the offseason is over.
