Yet Another Candidate

The Tolbert Report has the scoop on a right-leaning Independent candidate for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Blanche Lincoln. According to Tolbert, Trevor Drown of Russellville had a hard time deciding which office to seek: Quorum Court, State House, or U.S. Senate. I think a lot of politicians have that same issue.

Tolbert is the reason bloggers get a bad rap. They are the Ben Franklins of the modern world, but have the voice and the mental capacity of pathetic Joan Rivers. He makes a statement as a tongue in cheek slam on a guy that wants to exercise his right to join the elected official process. Drown try’s a novel approach, he asks people what office he should seek. Go on his site vote and help him decide where he can best serve the community. They do and they pick US Senate. Ok that is a rather ambitious goal and maybe Drown is a little naive to think he can win it. But stranger things have happened and with where this country is right now, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a guy like this galvanize the people. But Tolbert either shows his lack of understanding by not reading Drown’s website or reads it and is looking for shock value, by poking fun at this Hillbilly. Who is much like lots of other hillbillys in this state tired of the career politicans. In reality Tolbert is a hack for the Republican party who is begging to get picked up by someone to do some real work. He also knows he must do everything in his power to bail out the rowboat of Republican leadership in the state, because it is his only lifeline.

Now I see this guy is part of a cyber grassroots movement called I dare to make a difference. Pretty neat stuff. http://www.idaretomakeadifference.com
What are the chance Tolbert can walk up those stairs in the photo on the front of his website without loosing his lunch?
